If I am successful in inspiring just one student to come back home to dedicate their life to selfless nation building, I will consider all of this effort to be worth it.
Born out of a passion for The Bahamas, and all that it has to offer, local Bahamian; Steven Cartwright founded Bahamas Revisited as an excursion company focused on experiencing the out islands. With a love of history, culture, and all things creative Steven recognized the need for an authentic out island experience, not only for tourists, but for local high school groups as well.
Bahamas Revisited is an excursion company offering educational, environmental week long excursions to the Bahamian Out Islands. The company has partnered with a 70ft Schooner to offer a one of a kind sailing experience through the Exumas, as well as Bahamasair, the national flag carrier of the country to transport large groups to other Island destinations.
Bahamas Revisited has primarily targeted school groups, but is not limited to educational excursions. We welcome family trips, adult groups, mission teams, relief work, creative get aways, corporate groups, and the list goes on. Every experience is customizable to the client’s needs.
In addition to excursions, we at Bahamas Revisited believe very strongly in supporting, and highlighting the work of artisans, painters, photographers, designers and all creative persons here at home. Each week we will feature the work of a local artist in the hopes of further exposing the talent right here in The Bahamas.
